Welcome to Contra Costa JCC

There are two quotations that are quite relevant for today’s social-distancing world:

“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” – Viktor Frankl

"Life is like riding a bicycle: to keep your balance you must keep moving." – Albert Einstein

The Contra Costa JCC is committed to being a source of engagement and connection during these unprecedented times.

Through our sharing updates about programming and activities, we link individuals with our local institutions in order to showcase our vibrant and pluralistic Jewish community.

Through our own ZOOM events and additional programming presented with our partner organizations and synagogues, we continue to build community and provide sources of inspiration and education.

Right now and until further notice, our programs will primarily be done through ZOOM and other social-distancing platforms.  We will update our website as evolving facts on the ground allow us to pivot to in-person events.

Thanking you for your support,

Larry Jacobs,

President, Contra Costa JCC
