Dorothy and Sidney Millman Adult Day Program
Caregiver Support Group

The longevity of the dementia journey is on average 8 years from diagnosis to death. Families seek intervention at varying intervals dependent upon their individual experiences and needs. The Millman Adult Day Program recognizes the tremendous stress and isolation that occurs when living with and/or caring for someone with dementia.

To meet the needs of family caregivers, the Millman Adult Day Program offers two weekly caregiver support groups led by a trained facilitator. In addition, monthly presentations are offered by professionals in the field of aging-related services. This program is co-sponsored by Acalanes Adult Education and the Alzheimer's Association.
