Millman Adult Day Program Dementia Caregivers Resource Library The Millman Adult Day Program Dementia Caregivers Resource Library helps family caregivers access resources in an easier way. Visitors will find almost 100 books and DVD’s available for check-out and made possible thru the 2008-09 Civic Pride Grant. Selections include early memory loss, care at home, placement, therapeutic activities, wellness for the caregiver and care receiver, and grief and loss. The Contra Costa Library System partnered with the Millman Adult Day Program in the selection of the most recent and up to date books and DVD’s available. The library, which is open to the public and free of charge to the entire community, contains a wealth of information addressing the daily challenges faced by families and caregivers of people with memory impairment. . The Millman Adult Day Program Dementia Caregivers Resource Library is dedicated to all the families in our community who are devoted to the lives of those dealing with memory impairments. This resource is made possible through generous funding from the City of Walnut Creek 2008-09 Civic Pride Grant and in partnership with the Contra Costa County Library System.
